context of the larger picture of your organization and your personal life.
Elizabeth Moliter is Principal Consultant at Art of Work Consulting. She is an experienced business leader across various industries as well as a seasoned performer, singer-songwriter, and writer.
As a means of supporting herself financially between acting gigs, she took a position with a staffing firm working onsite at investment banks in New York’s Financial District. In this fast-paced and high-stakes environment, she began to develop her business and leadership skills.
After ten years in New York City, she made the decision to leave its frenetic tempo behind to move to Austin, Texas. The quieter, yet still creative, environment allowed her to explore projects that fed her soul. She began songwriting in earnest and formed a folk-rock band with her twin sister, writing, recording and performing their original material.
She also continued to develop as a business professional, and quickly became one of the top producers in the Austin market while serving as Director of Sales and Marketing for several real estate development projects in the urban core.
Most recently, she served as Vice President of the Board of Directors for a large non-profit firm at which she also worked in an executive leadership position in the organization. In this role, she engaged teams to provide satisfying professional job opportunities for individuals with disabilities, experiencing first-hand the importance of mission-driven work.
A graduate of The College of William and Mary in Virginia with a BA in Theatre Arts, Elizabeth further honed her skills to better support, mentor and coach employees and jobseekers by pursuing a Masters Degree in Human Dimensions of Organizations from the University of Texas at Austin which she earned in 2017.
Elizabeth currently publishes a blog which explores principles from the world of art — music, theater, visual art, dance, poetry — to enhance creativity, infuse energy into teams, and provide emotionally rewarding experiences in the workplace and beyond.
A teammate. A leader. A coach. An inspiration.
A teammate. A leader. A coach. An inspiration. Elizabeth Moliter has served as all of those to me. As a teammate, Elizabeth takes input from all and works with her team to come up with collaborative results. As a leader, she can carefully evaluate circumstances and guide her staff in a determined and effective direction. As a coach, she listens deeply to others, cares about what they say, and takes her time to give insightful guidance when it’s most needed.

Elizabeth's work relieved my frustration
“Our organization had been through a lot of changes in a short amount of time, including both growth and new staff, and I perceived that internal processes were breaking down within one group in particular. Elizabeth’s skilled observations helped us through a critical patch and, as a CEO, relieved my frustration of not being able to be in two places at once.”
